Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or appropriate modality.
- State licensure as required for MRI technologists in Nebraska.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Ability to perform CT and X-ray, including operating in the OR environment; CT and X-ray certifications required.
- MRI certification is preferred but optional if candidate has at least 2 years of MRI experience.
- Experience using EPIC charting system preferred.
- Willingness and ability to work a schedule that supports Level II trauma, including CT and X-ray coverage and limited MRI for heads and spines.
- Drivers license required at submittal to confirm compliance with the 50-mile radius rule.
- Compliance with facility fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas.
- Candidates must not be currently employed (full time, part time, or PRN) with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity.
- Preferred: prior experience supporting Level II trauma centers and neurosurgical MRI protocols.
Assignment Details:
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Nights.
- Shift hours: Nights 1800-0600.
- Shift pattern: 7 days on, 7 days off. Typical workweek begins Thursday evening through the following Wednesday evening.
- Typical schedule: Thursday 1830–0600, Friday 1830–0600, Saturday 1830–0600, Sunday 1930–0600, Monday 1930–0600, Tuesday 1930–0600, Wednesday 1930–0600.
- Orientation hours: 12 hours.
- Guaranteed hours: 38 hours per week.
- Cancellation policy: Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment; 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks.
- Floating: Candidate must be able to provide CT and X-ray coverage as needed to support the trauma service. No call expectations for these staff.
- Radius rule: Candidates must reside within 50 miles as determined by driver’s license at submittal.
