We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current NJ state respiratory licensure in good standing.
• One year experience as an RRT.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilators, oxygen delivery devices, nebulizers, and suctioning procedures.
• Experience performing arterial puncture, oximetry, capnography, and 12-lead EKGs with basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and endotracheal tube insertion or removal, including video laryngoscope systems.
• Experience assisting with bronchoscopy, chest tube management, and pleural drainage devices where applicable.
• Ability to perform pulmonary function studies (e.g., NIF, VC) and adhere to hospital lab specimen handling and quality control policies.
• ACLS certification preferred.
