Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. This role will include performing head & neck, general abdominal, transplant (liver and kidney), and vascular exams, with opportunities to support ultrasound-guided procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer.
- BLS certification.
- Experience scanning head & neck exams and following detailed protocols. (Client-specific requirement.)
- Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures (biopsies and OR guidance) preferred. (Client-specific preference.)
- Experience performing routine general abdominal, transplant liver and transplant kidney exams, and DVT exams (upper and lower). (Client-specific requirement.)
- Experience with Philips EPIQ Elite and GE Logiq ultrasound systems preferred. (Client-specific preference.)
- Pediatric ultrasound experience is preferred. (Client-specific preference.)
- Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists and follow department protocols. (Client-specific requirement.)
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift schedule: Sun 8:00 AM–6:30 PM; Mon 7:00 AM–5:30 PM; Thu 7:00 AM–5:30 PM; Sat 8:00 AM–6:30 PM.
- Assignment split between two hospitals within the same health system; candidate must be able to work at multiple hospital locations as scheduled.
- Equipment at site A: Philips EPIQ Elite. Equipment at site B: GE Logiq 10s.
