We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Hoffman Estates, IL where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Illinois state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum one year of experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting. Preferred experience includes pediatric and adult critical care, NICU/PICU, and Level II trauma center environments.
• BLS certification required. ACLS and NRP preferred.
• Experience with mechanical ventilation management, arterial blood gas interpretation, neonatal and pediatric respiratory support modalities, and bedside respiratory procedures.
• Ability to float to other hospital units including general pediatrics, adult med/surg, adult ICU, or the emergency department when required.
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation availability required.

• Weekend/holiday requirement: Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
