Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology, or equivalent educational credential.
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in the state of New Mexico.
- Current BLS certification.
- 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist; experience in a hospital imaging department preferred.
- Experience preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating gamma cameras, SPECT, and PET equipment.
- Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and state and federal radiation regulations.
- Ability to work with multi-disciplinary clinical teams and follow facility protocols for trauma and acute care settings.
- Preferred: ARRT (N) certification or NMTCB certification, if applicable.

- Work environment: Level III trauma center supporting medical, surgical, pediatric, and specialty services.
