We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• NBRC credential required.
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience.
• Previous travel assignment required (at least one prior travel assignment).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Experience with Meditech documentation preferred.
• Familiarity with equipment such as oxygen cylinders, nebulizers, suction machines, CPAP/BiPAP, V60, Servo-1, Servo-U, and high flow devices preferred.
• Stroke education and experience preferred.

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Unit: Respiratory Therapy (acute care medical/surgical environment supporting cardiovascular, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, and bariatric services).
• Shift name: Days.
• Shift details: Days 0630-1900.
• Typical team size: 2–8 RRTs per shift with additional permanent staff and per diem support.
• Documentation system: Meditech.
• Call requirements: As needed.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other units within the hospital.
