Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to support a hospital in Monroe, NC. The MRI Technologist will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images. The role involves working with emergency department, inpatient and outpatient populations in a high-volume, team-oriented environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or MRI, or equivalent national certification (ARRT(MR), NMTCB, or ARMRI preferred).
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required. Candidates with first-time traveler status may be accepted.
- Experience with Siemens and GE MRI equipment preferred.
- Experience in hospital settings, including ED, inpatient, and outpatient imaging.
- Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems preferred.
- Photo ID required during compliance process.
- NC state licensure is not required.
- Preferred: Dual-modality or cross-trained technologists (CT, Radiography, Ultrasound) hold applicable ARRT credentials and BLS.

- Standard Hours Per Week: 36.
- Duration: 13 Week assignment.
- Start Date Range: April 27, 2026 to July 25, 2026.
- Department Orientation: 3–5 days departmental orientation depending on modality plus online NEO courses.
- Department Features: High-volume setting, team accountability, support from nursing and transport.
- Scrub Color: Black scrubs required. Parking provided free.

Jackson HealthPros seeks an MRI Technologist to accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images. The technologist will collaborate with radiologists, nursing, and transport staff to ensure patient-centered care in a trauma level IV, teaching hospital setting with a chest pain and stroke center.

- MRI Tech credentials: BLS; ARRT(R) or NMTCB, ARRT(MR) or ARMRI.
