Description
Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist and perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will operate and assure quality of imaging equipment, monitor patients during procedures, and support procedural teams in a hospital interventional radiology department.
Minimum Requirements:
- ARRT - Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required.
- Current state radiologic technologist license for North Carolina.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology technologist experience required. Client will accept first-time travelers.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting preferred.
- Experience with Siemens single-plane, Siemens bi-plane, or Canon bi-plane angiography systems preferred.
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record preferred.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program preferred.
- Good communication skills and ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team required.

- Assignment duration: 10 Week travel assignment.
- Department patient volume: Average 25-30 patients per day.
- Patient population: Adults and pediatrics from ED, ICUs, inpatient units, and outpatients.
- Orientation: Facility and departmental tour plus approximately 5 days departmental orientation, flexible based on traveler needs.
- Call: On-call rotation is staffed among full time, part time, PRN and travelers; frequency depends on team size and fair rotation.
- Holiday coverage: Travelers expected to assist with holiday coverage unless approved off in advance.
- Floating: No floating to other facilities required.
- Technology: Department uses EPIC EMR.
