Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine. CNMT licensure preferred.
- BLS certification.
- 1+ years nuclear medicine experience required; experience performing cardiac nuclear stress testing preferred.
- Experience with IV insertion and safe handling/storage of radioactive materials.
- Familiarity with maintaining American College of Radiology NM accreditation and state radioactive materials licensing requirements.
- Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate with cardiologists and radiologists.
Preferred qualifications may include advanced cardiac nuclear experience and prior work in outpatient cardiology settings. Preferred items are not required.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Days: Monday through Friday.
- Shift Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
- Schedule: Full time, five 8-hour shifts per week.
- Work Location Details: Split work between a main hospital campus in York, ME and an outpatient cardiology office in Portsmouth, NH for nuclear stress testing. Candidates must be willing to split hours and commute between sites as required.
