Assist physicians and cath lab personnel with invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures, operate advanced imaging equipment to capture diagnostic data, and support a fast-paced Level III cardiac cath lab environment.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist required.
• RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital-based Cath Lab. Clinical experience with structural heart, left heart, and peripheral vascular procedures preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with scrub duties, running image intensifier (II), and performing fluoroscopy during cases.
• Experience assisting with electrophysiology studies and ablations preferred.
• Experience with ECMO and mechanical circulatory support devices (for example, Impella) preferred.
• Vocational/technical degree in RCIS, Radiologic Technology, or accredited Electrophysiology program required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum Requirements (Client Specific)

• ARRT certification required.
• Local candidates accepted.
• Must be able to scrub cases, run II, and perform fluoro.
• Prior experience in a Level III Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 cath lab rooms and high procedure volume (approximately 10+ cases per day) preferred.
• Familiarity with structural heart procedures, peripheral vascular cases, ECMO, and Impella support preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain complex electrical equipment, monitoring and recording devices required.
• Ability to recognize normal and abnormal ECG and monitor multiple data sources during procedures required.
• Ability to lift and position patients and use appropriate PPE including lead apron and thyroid shield required.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Typical Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, four 10-hour days. No block scheduling.
• Call Requirement: One weeknight per week (5:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and approximately every fourth weekend. Weekend call begins Friday at 5:00 PM and ends Monday at 7:30 AM.
• Role Responsibilities: Scrub cases, run II, perform fluoro, assist with EP studies and ablations, maintain lab safety and supplies, support billing accuracy, and participate in on-call rotation.
