We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Saginaw, MI where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Michigan state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum one year of experience as an RRT in an acute care or hospital setting.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience operating and maintaining mechanical ventilators, performing arterial puncture, and performing suctioning and tracheostomy care.
• Experience with oximetry, capnography, 12-lead EKG, and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Ability to assist with bronchoscopy, chest tube procedures, and other bedside respiratory procedures per policy.
• Ability to perform CPR according to BLS and ACLS guidelines. ACLS preferred.
• Experience documenting respiratory care records and working with hospital laboratory specimen handling preferred.
