Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working in Merced, CA. Provide procedural support to physicians and cath lab personnel, operate imaging equipment, and capture diagnostic and interventional data of the heart and vascular system.
What You'll Need:
- ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- ACLS, BLS, and Fluoroscopy certifications required.
- ARRT, ARRT (per client notes) and experience with Cath Lab procedures including PCIs, peripheral interventions, diagnostic caths, nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filters.
- Experience with Cerner charting system required. Experience with Sensis and Merge preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting preferred. Candidate must be capable of assisting with training new staff.
- Ability to scrub as a Cath Lab Tech is required by the client. RN circulation occurs; scrubbing by RNs is not required.
- Experience with balloon pumps and STEMI care is a plus.
- State licensure as required.

Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Pattern: 8-hour day shifts. Start time per client notes is 9:30 for typical days.
- Possible call requirements noted as "possible call"; no call currently required per unit notes.
- Orientation: 12 hours.
- Charting System: Cerner.
- Case Volume: Varies from 0 to 5–6 cases per day. Currently one cath lab with plans to expand to two.
- Assignment Duration: 13-week assignment starting 04/20/2026 through 07/20/2026. Guaranteed hours noted as 40 hours per week.
- Cancellation Policy: Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment.
- Equipment: GE imaging systems per client notes.
- Travel/Radius Policy: 50 mile radius rule. No local rates.
