Description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, produce high-quality diagnostic images, perform equipment quality control, and follow ALARA principles for safe handling and disposal of radioactive materials.


Minimum Requirements

  • Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine Technology program, or an associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
  • National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Nuclear Board and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or equivalent. State licensure if required by Arizona.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Clinical experience typically achieved with 2 years of experience performing nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Demonstrated competence in administration of radiopharmaceuticals, sterile/invasive/interventional procedures if applicable, and equipment quality control.
  • Ability to perform patient education, maintain accurate documentation, and demonstrate effective communication and human relations skills.
  • Preferred: Additional related education and/or additional years of nuclear medicine experience.

  • Shift: Days.
  • Shift hours: 07:00–15:30.
  • Assignment duration: 13 Week travel assignment.
  • May direct activities of students and support staff as part of role.
