We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing with the New Jersey State License Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum of one year experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting. Experience with ventilator management (invasive and non-invasive) required.
• Demonstrated competence with arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation, oximetry and capnography monitoring.
• Experience performing suctioning, tracheostomy care, endotracheal tube management, and assisting with bronchoscopic procedures.
• Ability to perform 12‑lead EKGs, basic arrhythmia recognition, and pulmonary function testing (e.g., NIF, VC).
• BLS certification required. ACLS required or preferred depending on client needs. (If ACLS is preferred, it is noted as preferred.)
• Ability to set up, test, operate, maintain and troubleshoot a range of mechanical ventilators and related respiratory equipment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation and interdisciplinary coordination.
