Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment to support diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in a hospital setting.
Minimum Qualifications
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in the assigned state.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
- Experience working in a hospital environment.
- Familiarity with nuclear medicine imaging equipment and radiation safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SPECT and PET imaging systems.
- Experience preparing and handling radiopharmaceuticals.
- Advanced certifications in nuclear medicine or related specialties preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0700-1530.
- Shift Pattern: 5x8.
- Expected Hours: 40 per week.
