Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, and produce diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine/PET-CT studies according to federal, state, and hospital policies.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or related field.
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear) or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
- CT registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred.
- Current BLS (CPR) certification.
- Demonstrated skills in venipuncture.
- Experience with Siemens PET/CT, GE general nuclear medicine software, and Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT for nuclear cardiology preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift details: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30.
- Assignment length: 13 weeks.
- Start date: contingent upon credentialing clearance.
- Must perform duties under direction of physician, chief, or senior technologist and follow applicable regulations.
