What You'll Need:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program

• ARRT (T) certification

• BLS certification

• Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience

• Experience with ambulatory and oncology radiation therapy environments

• Experience with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators preferred

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Therapeutic Radiology, or equivalent accredited program.

• ARRT (T) registration required.

• BLS certification required.

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical Radiation Therapist experience required. First-time travelers will be considered.

• Experience with IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and 3D treatments preferred.

• Familiarity with EPIC and ARIA electronic medical records preferred.

• Patient Census: Average 30–45 patients per day
• Clinical Capabilities: IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, 3D treatments; 2 linear accelerators (Varian TrueBeam)
• Scheduling: No weekends. No on-call. Travelers expected to work approximately 75% of holidays.
• Orientation: Departmental orientation provided.
• Floating: No floating required.
• Department Support: Chief RT on site.

Additional Duties:

• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.

• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment.

• Verify treatment plans and dosage with oncology team.

• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy.

• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems such as EPIC/ARIA.
