Description
Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Miami, FL. Use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for operation and quality assurance of imaging equipment, patient monitoring, and support of complex IR procedures including neuro cases. This role is in a hospital setting using Philips IR table and Meditech documentation systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of Interventional Radiology technologist experience with references.
- Neuro interventional experience required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Graduated from an AMA-approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- State radiologic technologist license for Florida.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Y90, prostate embolization, tunneled catheter placement, thoracentesis, and paracentesis.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced special procedures or interventional radiology unit.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0700-1900.
- Call Requirements: approximately one week per month.
- Documentation system: Meditech.
- Primary IR equipment: Philips IR table.
