We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Frankfort, KY where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Kentucky state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• One year experience as an RRT in a hospital setting.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• NRP is preferred. If NRP is not currently held, on-site training may be available.
• Experience with hospital ventilators and noninvasive ventilation equipment such as Hamilton C-1, Airvo, and Avea vents preferred.
• Experience performing arterial blood gases (ABGs).

Preferred Qualifications

• NICU experience preferred but not required. Willingness to learn neonatal practices is required.
• Familiarity with Meditech (Meditec) documentation system preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
• Night shift schedule.
• Every other weekend required as part of a 4-week self-scheduling system.
