Pros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with ARRT-MR or AMRIT.
• State radiologic technologist license for Georgia.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year MRI technologist experience in any setting. Preferred: 2+ years MRI experience.
• Experience scanning inpatient and outpatient populations, including brains, spines, abdomen, pelvis, upper extremities, and lower extremities.
• Experience working with MRI monitors, MRI IV pumps (IradiMed), and collaborating with anesthesia teams for MRI cases.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system. EPIC experience is a hard requirement.
• Experience operating Siemens MRI equipment. Siemens MRI experience is required.
• Ability to work with pediatric and adult patient populations and manage patients with implants or pacemakers per facility protocols.
• Willingness to participate in weekend rotations and on-call schedule as required by the facility. Specific call schedule will be discussed by manager during interview. (Preferred: prior call experience.)

• Facility type: Hospital.

• Shift details: Days 0700-1500.
• Standard hours per week: 40.
• Unit information: 2 MRI rooms, average census about 20 patients per weekday and 18 patients per weekend day.
• Orientation: 1 week unit orientation.
• Floating: None required.
• Technology: EPIC EMR required; Siemens MRI equipment; MRI IV pump (IradiMed); Omnicell medication dispensing.
• Support: House transport 24/7 and typically a second MRI technologist on shift. Management onsite weekdays, on call for weekends. Off-site radiologist reads and RT coverage 24/7.
• Scheduling: Set schedule with possible weekend rotation. Holiday shifts: work if on scheduled shift.
