Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of film processing, patient monitoring, and x-ray equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist with references. (Client requires 2-3 years and neuro experience.)
• Certification and registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required. ACLS preferred.
• Certification in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT) or Vascular-Interventional Radiology R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT) preferred.
• Experience with neuro-interventional procedures (cerebral angiograms, thrombectomy, coiling, carotid stenting) required.
• Experience with angiography, run-off studies, and peripheral vascular interventions highly preferred.
• Prior experience assisting with tunneled dialysis catheters, MediPorts, nephrostomy tubes, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty, lumbar drains, PICC, and biliary drains preferred.
• Experience in a hospital interventional lab environment, high-acuity and fast-paced procedural settings preferred.
• Ability to use PACS and electronic health records. EPIC experience preferred.
• Must be able to remain within 30 minutes of the hospital for on-call requirements.
• State licensure where applicable.
• Travel experience preferred for travelers. Local candidates will be considered.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift name: Days.
• Schedule: Four 9-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week (Monday through Friday as assigned). Daily hours rotate between 7:00am–4:30pm, 7:30am–5:00pm, or 8:00am–5:30pm.
• Call required: one weekday on-call rotation and every fourth weekend coverage. Weeknight on-call hours 5:30pm–7:00am. Weekend on-call hours 7:00am–7:00pm.
• Additional on-call shifts as needed to support coverage for open positions.
• May be required to stay beyond scheduled shift if procedure rooms remain in operation.
• Unit specifics: 2 labs; 12–15 cases per day.
• Candidates must be willing to float within facility as needed to support department operations.
