Description
Join our team as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (Vascular Sonographer) at a hospital in Salem, MA. You will perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations, prepare patients, operate GE E10 ultrasound systems and Parks PVR equipment, document results in EPIC and Visage PACS, and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience performing vascular ultrasound studies, including abdominal vasculature, aorta, and renal artery exams.
- Experience using GE E10 ultrasound systems, Parks PVR units, and treadmills preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system and Visage PACS required.
- BLS certification required.
- Ability to perform one-on-one patient care and maintain accurate procedural documentation.
- Preferred: prior experience working in an outpatient vascular lab or hospital vascular lab setting.
Assignment Details:
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Details: Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. (32 hours per week).
- Typical unit: Two-room vascular lab equipped with GE E10 units, Parks PVR units and treadmills.
- EMR: EPIC. Image systems: Visage PACS.
- Clinician to patient ratio: 1:1.
- Floating Required: No.
- On-call: Shared on-call coverage until 8:00 PM as part of the team schedule.
