What You'll Need:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program

• AART (or ARRT-T) certification in Radiation Therapy

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Radiation Therapist. Client requires experience treating adult oncology patients and using linear accelerators.

• Demonstrated competency with treatment planning verification and patient immobilization techniques

• Experience documenting treatments in electronic medical records.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Preferred: Experience with image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT). Preferred: prior hospital setting experience.

Additional Duties:

• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment.

• Verify treatment plans and dosages with the oncology team prior to delivery.

• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy and escalate concerns per protocol.

• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record.
