We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Florida state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum one year of recent experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting preferred; experience with ventilators, mechanical ventilation management, and invasive/non-invasive ventilation required.
• Experience performing arterial puncture, tracheostomy care, endotracheal tube insertion and removal, and bedside procedures such as bronchoscopy assistance and chest tube management preferred.
• Proficiency with oximetry and capnography monitoring, 12-lead EKG acquisition, and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Ability to operate and perform set-up and self-test on a variety of ventilatory equipment, and to document treatments and charting accurately.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to communicate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
