Join Jackson HealthPros as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will perform specialized breast imaging examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease at a hospital setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography (RT and M).
• State licensure as required by Ohio (ODH) or ability to obtain prior to start.
• BLS certification required. ACLS preferred.
• Experience performing screening and diagnostic mammograms and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of QC procedures and Mammography Quality Standards (MQSA).
• Experience with stereotactic biopsy procedures preferred.
• Experience with 3D mammography units preferred, including Hologic and GE systems.
• Ability to rotate on mobile mammography vans as required by the client.
• Local candidates accepted.

Assignment Details:

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Hours: 8-hour shifts. Typical shift start times include 6:30 a.m., 7:00 a.m., or 7:30 a.m.; mobile van shifts may run longer (examples: approximately 6:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).
• No on-call required.
• Floating: Must float to the women's center and mobile unit once or twice weekly.
• Equipment: 2 Hologic 3D units and 1 GE Pristina 3D unit; Hologic 3D unit also on mobile van.
• Patient Volume: Approximately 40–50 patients per day.

Position Summary:

The Registered Mammography Technologist produces high-quality breast imaging procedures following ARRT, ACR, and MQSA guidelines. Responsibilities include performing screening, diagnostic, invasive breast procedures, and DEXA scans per protocols. The technologist assists radiologists during invasive procedures, ensures aseptic technique, documents clinical history, selects appropriate imaging techniques, applies radiation protection principles, provides patient education, and participates in quality improvement activities.

Licensing/Certification and Education:

• ARRT Mammography certification preferred upon hire or must be obtained within six months of hire if allowed by employer.
• State licensure as required by the state where the job is performed.
• BLS required prior to direct patient care.
• Associate degree from an ARRT-accredited program preferred.
• One year of experience as a registered mammography technologist preferred.
