Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images used by physicians for patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer.
• BLS Certification.
• Competence performing General, OB/GYN, and Vascular studies.
• Competent to work on Parks Flo-lab Unit.
• Competent operating GE E10 and GE E9 ultrasound units.
• Experience using EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Experience using McKesson PACS.
• Ability to perform arterial and venous studies including ABIs, reflux studies, venous insufficiency mapping, and carotid exams.
• Preferred: OB certification for candidates who will work night shifts.
• Preferred: Experience with portable (floor) ultrasound procedures.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Mid Shift.
• Shift Hours: 1200-2400.
• Standard Hours Per Week: 40.
• Duration: 13 Week travel assignment.
• Patient types: Inpatient and outpatient adults; OB, pelvic, vascular, small parts.
• Imaging rooms: Department has 2 rooms, plus 1 ED room and 1 Breast Imaging room.
• Department coverage: 24/7 staffing; traveler may be solo on overnight coverage.
• Orientation: 1 week with a preceptor.
• Weekend rotation: 1 weekend per contract.
• Floating: Expect to perform portable studies on patient floors.
