Description
Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist and use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, compassionately prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce detailed images of the heart for interpretation by healthcare teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RCS required.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of echocardiography experience acceptable; 2 years preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform all modes of echocardiography including transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, Dobutamine stress echos, contrast echocardiograms, and bubble studies.
- Experience with GE E95 ultrasound equipment preferred.
- Experience with Meditech or Centricity documentation systems preferred.
- Effective communication, strong organizational skills, independent work ability, and critical thinking skills.

- Facility type: Hospital.
- Unit: Echo department.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 07:00–16:30.
- Schedule pattern: Four 9-hour shifts with weekend/weekday call and rotation for every other weekend and holidays with hospital staff.
- Required uniform: Scrubs.
