Description

Provide procedural support and diagnostic imaging during cardiac and vascular interventions while operating advanced fluoroscopic and monitoring equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.
What You'll Need:
- One of the following required credentials: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 180 days of hire; Cardiographic Tech (CCI) credential obtained prior to hire; or ARRT Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) credential obtained prior to hire.
- BLS Provider from American Heart Association or American Red Cross obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer.
- Experience performing specialized imaging and interventional procedures including angiography, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.
- Ability to prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Experience working in a hospital Cath Lab setting and knowledge of radiation safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Preferred: Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification. Preferred: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- State specific licensure when required.
Minimum Requirements (Client Specific)
- Must obtain BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date or job transfer date (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
- Must obtain RCIS (CCI) within 180 days of hire if not already credentialed, or hold an equivalent required credential (Cardiographic Tech CCI or ARRT Radiography) prior to hire.
- Demonstrated ability to perform angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional procedures and assist the procedural physician.
- Prior Cath Lab experience in a hospital environment required.
- Follows radiation safety procedures and ensures compliance with regulatory agency standards.

- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Hours: 06:45–17:00 (alternate shift pattern may be 06:30–19:00 per client scheduling).
- Start: Travel assignment beginning May with a 13-week duration.

Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and procedural staff during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Prepare and position patients, select anatomic and technical parameters, and operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
- Monitor patients during procedures, observe and report abnormal activity, and follow established protocols.
- Maintain radiation safety practices and ensure equipment and processes meet regulatory standards.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility policy.
