We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Ottumwa, IA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum one year clinical experience as an RRT; experience with neonatal and pediatric patients preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Client-specific onboarding requirements: Iowa SING background check clearance required (criminal and child abuse portions). All county and state background checks must be fully cleared prior to start; instant or statewide searches are not accepted.
• Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult required.
• Pre-employment drug test required: 10-panel screen including opiates.

• Shift days: Days of week consistent with day shift schedule.
• Candidate may be expected to provide care across hospital departments as needed.
