We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• One year experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting preferred. Client requires experience with mechanical ventilators, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, and arterial blood gas sampling.
• BLS certification required. ACLS preferred.
• Experience performing airway management (endotracheal intubation, tracheostomy care) and suctioning techniques.
• Competence with 12-lead EKG acquisition and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Familiarity with pulmonary function testing and use of capnography and oximetry monitoring.
• Ability to operate and perform setup and self-tests on a variety of ventilatory equipment.
