We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Panama City, FL where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Florida respiratory therapist license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum one year experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting preferred; experience with ventilator management and invasive and non-invasive ventilation required.
• BLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience performing arterial blood gas sampling, oximetry, capnography, and 12-lead EKGs.
• Competence with ventilator setup, monitoring, and daily ventilator management on multiple device types.
• Ability to perform airway management including suctioning, tracheostomy care, endotracheal tube insertion/removal, and use of video laryngoscope systems.
• Experience assisting with bronchoscopies, chest tube management, and pulmonary function testing preferred.
