What You'll Need:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program

• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy

• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in radiation therapy required by client. (Preferred: experience in cancer center or hospital outpatient radiation oncology)

• Required AHA BLS certification

• Experience operating linear accelerators and associated treatment planning verification workflows preferred


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital (Cancer Center / Radiation Oncology)
  • Shift Name: Days
  • Typical Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts (client schedule noted as 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
  • Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facility locations within the system as needed
  • Client requirement: Minimum 2 years of recent specialty experience
  • Certifications required: AART Certification, AHA BLS

Additional Duties:

• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.

• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment.

• Verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team.

• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy.

• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records.
