Description
We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Birmingham, AL where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current Alabama state license in good standing.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- BLS certification.
- Most of the candidate’s experience should be in a NICU. Level 4 NICU experience required; very strong Level 3 NICU experience may be considered as preferred.
- No floating to other facilities. This position does not require float responsibilities.

- Schedule: 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
- Contract length: 8-12 weeks.
- Start: ASAP; orientation and onboarding provided similar to nursing travelers.
