We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Respiratory Therapist license in good standing with the State of Iowa. Iowa licensure required. Minnesota licensure preferred.
• One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS certification.
• Experience with DME/home respiratory services including PAP device setups and mask fitting.
• Experience with home oxygen assessments and home ventilator support as needed (experience with Astral and Trilogy ventilators preferred).
• Familiarity with Brightree system and iPad operation for documentation and workflows.
• ResMed PAP device experience preferred. Experience with ResMed and Fisher & Paykel PAP masks preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift hours: 0800-1630.
• Schedule pattern: Monday through Friday preferred; employer would consider four 10-hour days or four 9-hour days.
• Responsibilities include PAP device setups (including mask fits), O2 assessments, and home vent support as needed.
