Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Nuclear Medicine (N) or CNMT. (Required).
- Must have an active permanent or temporary Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from the Texas Medical Board or Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS). (Required).
- Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current nuclear medicine technologist experience. (Required).
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification. (Required).
- Experience operating Gamma cameras, including SPECT/CT and PET/CT scanners, nuclear medicine computers, and cardiac stress equipment. (Required).
- Ability to administer intramuscular and intravenous injections and start IV lines. (Required).
- Basic knowledge of nuclear medicine therapeutic treatments and basic EKG knowledge to perform cardiac studies. (Required).
- Experience with Siemens and Spectrum imaging systems. (Highly preferred).
- Resume, skills checklist specific to nuclear medicine, two supervisory references from within the last year, and proof of taxable address required for onboarding. (Required).
- Maintain knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, accreditation requirements, and quality management practices for nuclear medicine. (Required).
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
- Shift days: Monday - Friday.
- Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week.
- Weekend requirements: Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility.
- Assignment duration: 13-week travel assignment.
- Floating: Candidate may be expected to float to other facilities as required by the client.
