Description
Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role supporting interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. You will assist physicians and cath lab personnel in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, operate interventional imaging systems, and contribute to high quality patient care across age groups.
What You’ll Need:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) R.T.(R) certification or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential required.
- State of Nevada Radiation Control Program License required.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Cath Lab Technologist in a hospital Cath/EP environment. Must have experience scrubbing and panning the x‑ray table for both cath and EP cases.
- Experience operating interventional imaging equipment and performing first assist duties for interventional cardiology, vascular surgery, or interventional radiology preferred.
- Travelers may be required to float to other facilities within competency level. This is a client requirement.
- Must be able to pick up one additional shift during the scheduling period as requested by the facility.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Department: Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Shift: Flex Shifts (4x10, rotating shifts, Monday–Friday as noted by facility schedule).
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours.
- Call Requirements: One weeknight call and one weekend call shift every five weeks as outlined by the facility.
- Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime per department needs.
