Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• ARRT or NMTCB national certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
• Experience performing cardiac stress/rest studies, HIDA, GI bleed studies, VQ scans, renal, bone, lung perfusion, parathyroid with SPECT CT, and administration of I-131.
• Experience starting IVs and working independently as the sole nuclear medicine technologist on a shift.
• Proficiency with Siemens CKM and Siemens Symbia S required. Siemens Prospecta experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in an adult-only patient population and in a level 2 trauma, teaching hospital environment.
• Willingness to follow facility escalation procedures and consult manager when encountering unfamiliar procedures.
• Preferred: prior experience in a hospital nuclear medicine department with EPIC and Philips PACS.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift days: Sunday through Wednesday.
• Standard hours per week: 36.
• Duration: 13 week travel assignment.
• Orientation: 4 shifts of department orientation required.
• Patient types: Adults only.
• Department support: Lead Tech and Management; house transport; 2-3 Nuc Med Techs during the week and 1 on weekends; RN support available one RN on weekend for cardiac cases.
• Technology: EPIC EMR, Philips PACS, Siemens CKM and Siemens Symbia S required; Siemens Prospecta preferred.
• Floating: No floating required.
• Holiday expectations: On-call only for some holidays per department policy.
• Scrub color: Black. Parking: Free.
