Description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment.


Minimum Requirements

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology, or equivalent education.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB certificate required.
  • State license to practice nuclear medicine as required by Nebraska regulations.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Experience working in a hospital nuclear medicine department preferred.
  • Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
  • Familiarity with Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs is preferred; client will provide training if needed.
  • Ability to comply with radiation safety procedures. Radiation badge provided by client.
  • Driver’s license required at submittal to confirm radius eligibility (50-mile radius restriction applies).
  • Ability to meet client fingernail policy: artificial nails prohibited for patient care staff. Noncompliance may result in termination of contract.
  • DOT certification preferred at initial contract and required for extension within 90 days.

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Shift pattern: 5x8, Monday through Friday.
  • Typical local schedule examples: M–F 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
  • Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Orientation hours: 12 hours.
  • Charting system: EPIC.
  • Client provides radiation badge.
  • Radius requirement: candidates must live within 50 miles and may not be employed as full-time, part-time, or PRN with CommonSpirit-associated facilities.
