Description
We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in St. Louis, MO where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current state license in good standing with the State License Board (Missouri RRT license required or transferable state license as applicable).
- One year experience as an RRT. Client prefers experience in acute care or hospital settings and experience with mechanical ventilators.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience performing arterial blood gas collection, oximetry and capnography monitoring, ventilator setup and management, suctioning, tracheostomy care, and basic EKG/arrhythmia recognition.
- Ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation per BLS and ACLS guidelines. ACLS preferred.
