We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider in Albany, NY. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders across acute care settings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Active NBRC credential.
• Active New York State Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care hospital setting, including experience in the Emergency Department and adult critical care.
• Experience performing airway management, including endotracheal intubation and extubation, pulmonary hygiene, and tracheostomy care.
• Familiarity with cardiopulmonary equipment and diagnostic testing procedures.
• BLS certification.
• Preferred: 1+ year experience working in a Level 3 NICU.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift: Nights.
• Shift Hours: 1900-0730 (three 12-hour night shifts per week).
• Holiday/Weekend Requirement: Three 12-hour holiday shifts per season; every other weekend.
• Department: Respiratory Therapy.
