We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing with the State License Board for Florida.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Minimum one year of critical care or acute care Respiratory Therapy experience. (Client requires critical care experience.)
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience with mechanical ventilators, specifically BP840 or similar ventilator platforms.
• Experience using Meditech or comparable electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend per unit scheduling requirements.
• Pewter color solid scrubs dress code compliance.
• Preferred: experience in trauma or comprehensive stroke services and prior hospital respiratory department experience.
