Description
Join Jackson HealthPros as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Myrtle Beach, SC. In this role, you will perform specialized breast imaging examinations to assist in diagnosis and patient care at a hospital outpatient radiology unit.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Mammography (ARRT-M) certification required.
- State radiologic licensure for South Carolina, if applicable.
- SCRQSA certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required. (Preferred: additional experience with bone density imaging.)
- Experience with GE Pristina mammography equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with GE PACS, MRS, or Meditech documentation systems preferred.
- Current BLS-CPR certification required.
- Ability to perform screening mammography procedures.
- Willingness to float to other breast centers within the local area, up to approximately 15–20 minutes away, as needed.
Assignment Details:
- Facility type: Hospital outpatient radiology unit.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift hours: 07:30–16:00.
- Schedule expectations: Every other weekend and holiday rotation in accordance with facility policy.
- Patient volume: Approximately 15 patients per day (typical daytime clinic workload).
- Equipment: GE Pristina mammography system.
- Documentation systems: MRS, Meditech, GE PACS.
- Procedures performed: Screening mammography; bone density experience requested.
- Unit staffing: Typically 1 mammography technologist and 1 unit secretary on site.
