Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Magnetic Resonance (ARRT-MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• Completion of an accredited MRI program or equivalent formal training.
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required; 2 years experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated competence in MRI patient positioning, pulse sequence parameters, magnet safety, and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Experience operating MRI workstations, PACS/RIS systems, and performing image transmission to PACS.
• Ability to prepare and administer contrast per protocol, including verification of orders, GFR/lab review, and weight-based dosing.
• Capability to follow infection control procedures, equipment cleaning, and routine quality control checks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interactions with physicians, patients, and interdisciplinary staff.
• Must be dependable, flexible with work hours to meet department needs, and able to work independently while collaborating with team members.
• Preferred: Experience in a hospital imaging department and familiarity with Dynacad or similar MRI software.

• Shift pattern: Monday through Thursday schedule (per client notes: Mon-Thurs 8:30am–7:00pm; primary posted shift 0800–1900)
• Required flexibility: Must be willing to take call when necessary and assist other modalities as needed.
