We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider in Anderson, SC where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current South Carolina respiratory therapist license in good standing with the State License Board.
• One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Client requires RRT credentialing specifically.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience operating and maintaining mechanical ventilators, performing arterial punctures, and suctioning procedures in an acute care/hospital environment.
• Ability to perform and interpret oximetry, capnography, 12-lead EKGs, and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Experience assisting with bronchoscopy, chest tube management, tracheostomy care, and transport of critically ill patients preferred.
• Experience with pulmonary function testing and working in facilities with moderate complexity labs preferred.
