We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current Ohio Respiratory Care license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) will be accepted but RRT is highly preferred.
• Advanced certifications: ACLS and BLS required. NRP required for NICU assignments (if applicable).
• Minimum 2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience. Experience in emergency airway management, ventilator management, arterial blood gas sampling, and ICU or specialty areas preferred.
• Competency with mechanical ventilators, non-invasive ventilation, and cardiopulmonary drug administration.
• Ability to work with neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
• Must maintain Healthcare Provider BLS through the American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Willingness to float to other hospitals within the Toledo market as needed.
• Must meet facility clinical ladder and credentialing requirements as outlined by the employer.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Nights.
• Shift Pattern: 12-hour PM shifts; every other weekend and holiday required.
• Average Weekly Hours: 36 GTE.
• Licensure/Certifications Required: Ohio Respiratory Care License, RRT preferred, ACLS, BLS. CRT consideration noted.
• Experience Required: At least 2 years clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Floating: Candidate will be required to float to all Toledo market hospitals if need arises.
