Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. You will prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine (WA license required).
- BLS certification.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - ARRT (N) verification or NMTCB credential. Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT) verification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
- Experience using EPIC and McKesson/CV PACS systems or similar PACS software.
- Experience performing stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI procedures.
- Ability to start IVs as required by the department.
- Experience with GE or Philips nuclear medicine equipment preferred.
- Candidates may not have been full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift details: Days 0700-1600.
- Typical schedule: Monday through Friday; shift notes indicate M-F 0730-1630 with minimal call required.
- Orientation: approximately 1 week (department specific orientation) with 12 orientation hours noted.
- Department: Diagnostic Imaging - Radiology (Nuclear Medicine), 3 scanners/rooms.
- Average volume: about 12 scans/studies per day.
- EMR/PACS: EPIC, McKesson PACS, CVPACS.
- Radiologist in-house coverage available.
- Weekend requirement: occasional. Holiday and limited call/standby requirements may apply.
- Scrub/dress code: professional scrubs; scrubs are not provided.
