We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Scottsdale, AZ where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state respiratory therapy license in good standing with the Arizona licensing board.
• One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in an acute care or hospital setting. Preferred: experience in rehabilitation or post-acute care settings.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with ventilator management, arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation, and non-invasive ventilation modalities.
• Ability to perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and document interventions in an electronic medical record.
• Effective communication skills for multidisciplinary team collaboration and patient/family education.
• Preferred: advanced certifications such as ACLS, NRP, or specialty respiratory credentials. Preferred: experience with pulmonary function testing and aerosol therapies.
