Description
Join a fast-paced team at an area hospital in Knoxville, TN where your expertise as a Radiation Therapist will directly impact lives. From administering targeted treatments to collaborating with oncology professionals, you will play a vital role in helping patients fight cancer with confidence and compassion.
What You'll Need:
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy
• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required
• BLS/CPR certification
• 1+ year of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Experience with Mosaiq EMR
• Ability to work with a patient throughput of approximately one patient every 15 minutes
• Adherence to facility dress code: steel grey scrubs; lab coat or non-fleece jacket optional; no artificial nails
• Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility (client requirement)
Preferred:
• Experience in hospital-based radiation oncology settings

- Patient volume: Currently one treatment room; expanding to three treatment rooms in approximately two months with two therapists on duty

Additional Duties:
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment
• Verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy
• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records
