We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current NC state respiratory therapy license in good standing.
• RRT or CRT required. One year experience as an RRT preferred; client requires a minimum of 2 years Respiratory Therapy experience for this position.
• BLS and ACLS required. PALS, NRP, and additional certifications (Resource Team requirements) required as noted by the client.
• Experience with critical care environments including CVICU, ED, progressive care, and NICU care (client lists NICU experience; pediatric care limited).
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system preferred.
• Familiarity with ventilators and department equipment including Servo ventilators (I, U, Airs), Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, and bubble CPAP preferred.
• Ability and willingness to float across region facilities as needed within scope of practice is required by the client.

• Orientation: New employee orientation plus 2 days departmental orientation.

• Floating: Required to float per regional needs within scope of practice. Travel time between facilities during floating will be paid.
