Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment in a hospital setting.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology, or equivalent.
- CNMT or ARRT (NM) required. ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) registry required for CT-related functions.
- State license or certification to practice nuclear medicine in South Carolina.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a nuclear medicine technologist. Experience performing nuclear stress tests, MUGA, parathyroid scans, V/Q with pulmonex, HIDA, gastric emptying, bone scans, DaTscans, brain flow studies, renograms, thyroid uptake and scans, cisternograms recommended.
- Experience operating GE Discovery 630, GE Infinia, and GE PET/CT scanners, and using Xeleris 5 software and Meditech documentation system preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, and maintain efficient time management.
- AIDET training or willingness to complete patient experience training.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Unit: PET / Nuclear Medicine.
- Shift: Days. Shift hours: 0600-1600.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday primary schedule with variable start times. One weekday on-call and weekend call approximately every 4th or 5th weekend.
- Required uniform: gray scrubs.
- May rotate to other shifts based upon staffing needs.

Charleston supports an urban, walkable lifestyle with a growing culinary scene along King Street and the Charleston City Market within downtown. For outdoor recreation, Francis Marion National Forest lies about 45–60 minutes north offering hiking and paddling options. Commuting options include Charleston International Airport approximately 20–25 minutes by car and CARTA public transit routes serving downtown and suburban areas.
